Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
I read something similar on a chicken thread. I wish I could remember how to find it. The suggestion was to aspirate the air with a syringe, but you had to be careful where to poke it (obviously). I did not understand how to find the spot, though. The bird’s owner elected to wait and in that case the gas disbursed on its own.

:launo........not to divulge my age or anything but that was way before Ron White gained notoriety :oops:.....but I was named for Tanya Tucker (it was either that or Tammy or Loretta) :idunno

Hummmm. We used to have to do this regularly with a seahorse that would suck in air and go upside-down. I do not know how to do it on a bird.

The air bladder on a fish is totally different from a chickens air sac's.
