OMG!! Lol is he just naturally big?? Like big boned/muscular or is he a little overweight or a mix or? That is a BIG Golden lol does he really fight mountain lions!?

well I was planning to work in bird areas tonight, but the weather had other ideas!! just ran out and buttoned down the hatches so to speak in prep for severe thunderstorm warning!! no issues with electric and no issues with birds outside!!

my signs for the shed are done and delivered to my dads house!! the pics she sent don’t have the feet attached to the quail yet, but I think they are all adorable!! (hubby says my quail looks more like a fish )

11 fertile. 8 made it to lockdown. 2 died (1 after hatch, 1 after externally pipping), and 6 happy, healthy quail chicks are up and running.

Yeah... I’m dunno. I’m kinda freaked out by genetically modified bison-birthing quails. Besides all that, I’m still trying to find that strain of bison that give us the buffalo wings. Now that’s some world-class modifyin’.

It’s a guppy quail, hatched from a fish egg.

He is like 8 or 9 now and almost killed a mountain lion a few weeks ago. Only had a few cuts his dad said
