➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Picture of eggs as of last night. Some looked like they were pipping and zipping.

See the top egg? Looks like zipping.

Picture from this morning, humidity jumped due to the hatchlings, I think there's 9 of them so far.

Help them! They want out aLready!
I seem to have better hatches when I take a hands off approach. If I open the incubator to help one that looks stuck, it shrink wraps others who aren't as far along. I'm going to open the incubator and let everyone out when I get home from work today.

Eggs from all three jumbo groups, one silver egg, and my red traditional experimental group made it to lockdown.

so exciting. :wee

will you be glued to the incubator? have you set up the extra bed? Going to livestream this one? :pop
I haven't paid much attention to these eggs at all.
The holidays got in my way.
I do have it set up next to a bed.
IF I am home I will be doing a live!
WOOT!

Those that eat their qualies..

What's the average dressed weight per bird?
Umm, I haven't actually weighed mine... I will try to do so and report back after I do the next batch. I have 6 that I am still trying to decide if I should off or try to sell. 3 are girls, so I bet someone would want them, but I think there's a feather plucker in the group or there's something wrong with them, their back/butt feathers haven't grown in properly.
