➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

First picture is my California quail and second my Jap. Incubator shut down after power repairs went on down the street. These two had already peeped and dried out in the egg. Last night I help hatch both and they looked dead by morning. Sat down at 12pm to day with cotton tip and rubbed there feathers until they fluffed up. Now both birds are looking like they may make it. The other 5 eggs in the incubator died. Note to self, going to get incubator hooked up to battery soon so this will not happen again.

Umm, I had a major incubator malfunction. It got up to 140 F, who knows how long, although I'm assuming for just a short time. My eggs are gone, right, no coming back from that?! I candled them, can't see any movement, could see veining and little blobs. Only 17 eggs not fertile, most from the same pair. Still waiting for the incubator to cool down so I can see if it can be fixed. Not a good way to end day 6.
Take the lid off quick but no I don't think there is any coming back from that.
I'm so sorry.

Oh no. All these bator troubles.
I hope these two thrive for you.
Good luck.
