Wife wanted babies. Then she wanted sleep. The 2 are mutually exclusive. Get a dog. They stay small and love you always. I prefer chickens.

I’ve had 3 human babies! I got 16 quail babies right now, but my real kids are older starting at the youngest he is almost 8, so my days of no sleep are long over - but I still don’t sleep because I work a lot at home as an artist so that’s my own fault.

As for dogs no, never, lol I don’t do dogs and my cats are outside and they belonged to my daughter but when she died I had to take them. We don’t do fur animals in the house - allergic asthma is a pain and dogs have sent us to the hospital on more than one occasion. Plus I got 100 other reasons but I’ll leave it there at the number one health reason!

I love chickens but my small flock is down to 3 quail seem to work better for me and require a bit less space, still get loads of eggs and their antics keep me laughing. I’ll get another hen or two in spring though! Love my chickens!

I forgot to take my eggs totally out of the egg tray at lockdown and instead just unplugged it and forgot like a tired dumbass so now I have to watch it like a hawk and pull babies before they murder themselves

LOL, I'm allergic to dogs and have always lived with them. I did allergy shots for six years which helped. I live on antihistamines, decongestants and my medi-pot. I'll take dogs over kids any day of the week!
