Does anyone know what the quail that look like SLW will look like as adults? I’m referring to the lacy pattern.

I just turned off the heat lamp for pictures. I have not heard a commotion yet.

The only quail I’m finding that look like that are cinnamon/cinnamon golden pearl.

I think my question may have gotten buried in my post some pages back:

Since this is my first hatch, is it normal for some eggs to have more dark mass inside than others (I see development in both types but, for example, one may appear to have 60% darkness inside where another may only appear to be 30%)?

I'm going to have to say yes they will look different at this point. Don't worry about that yet, but come closer to the end of the incubation they should all look close to the same.

Thank you! I should have included in my post above that this was based on day 5 candling...going to try to resist candling again until at least day 10...but it’s hard!

I like to candle daily.
I don't fight the urge.
