➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

@muddy75
I got my Tibetans in today!!! 230 and man are the eggs beautiful! Bobwhites are just white eggs. But these are so cool. However some of them were smashed. About 12 out of 240 were cracked. So that was a bummer. The other eggs I’ve ordered came in the cardboard cartons and never had a cracked one. But it could absolutely be a coincidence.:idunno

Who else ordered from Myshire on here with the hilarious goose profile picture? I can’t remember to tag them as well.
I did and they came in just fine. Sorry to hear some of yours were cracked. That is a BUNCH of eggs! I can't imagine hatching that many at once. I did, however, order a second bator that should be here tomorrow. LOL

What did you order?

Oh you guys. Quail are nice, and I'm sure rabbits will be too, but my family were ranchers a generation back, I was raised stuck in the city, I have wanted cows since before I could even say "cow", and I had basically given up on it happening. I am dying of excitement.

Not that I will start with cows. I have a strict upward in size livestock progression. But ducks! Oh my goodness, ducks! :weeAnd maybe goats in a year or two! I would love to have a dairy animal, I feel so bad supporting those central valley farms.

Now I just have to find a steady supply of that fart-negating algae.

(Oh and like a place to rent maybe I am getting ahead of myself :oops:).
I love cows, I just don't want to chase them when they get out. My husband says I love mastiffs because they are very cow like.

You are right! To me it looked like a goose even though it said “peeking duck”:lau

I think @dpenning ordered from Myshire!

See @Texas Kiki I told you memory problems are a sign you are intelligent!
My goal for the summer is to get my pekin ducks tame enough to actually re-create this picture with an actual duck. LOL!

I spend a lot of time with these girls, and while they poop as much as any cow, I’ve never known them to, um, flatulate...

Why wait? These fluffies aren’t milk cows but I’m gonna milk them all the same. They’re so easy to fence in... single strand equine electric rope. (Of course the calves will need more than a single strand, but still easy.) Seriously, life is too short not to have cows. :wee
