since the final season of game of thrones starts this weekend, the chicks got names! searcy is silkie chick #2 that is a definite cull. Hubs is going to have to do it as I just can’t 
the other silkie x is Aria and she has a deformed leg joint very similar to my shipped chick Hoppy. she will most likely be culled but I cant leave Hodor all alone because he’s just too big to brood long-term with the quail babies. It breaks my heart because both are sooo adorable. 16/24 quail babies. This batch was an assortment so I have at least 1 red range, 1 SSC, 5 yellers, a couple wild type, and a few tibetan. leaving remainder of eggs in until sunday but not expecting any more healthy hatches. I did a candling after moving to brooder and did not see any real activity in remaining eggs. due to candle sex-link batch tonight.
