Just set some already. What frightens me is the little voice bouncing around, shrieking about being so excited to put them in the incubator, and see what they look like when they hatch. She is getting me into the idea too!![]()
Still at 8 eggs?Today is my real lockdown day.
I can't wait for my silly handful of eggs to hatch.
They better all hatch too.

Only six dummies this time.
1/4 of what I set was fertile.

I think I wait until I can clearly see a difference in the ones that are developing vs the clears. So yesterday was day five and I candled last night. Of the 32 eggs 3-4 looked to not be developing and another 3-4 were too dark to see much of anything. The rest looked to be developing fairly well from what I could see.
So I know not everyone candles but for those who do when do you make the call to pull the duds and get rid of them? I question my candling ability do to limited experience but wouldn’t mind getting them in the auto turner if there were few enough “good” ones left to all fit.
