How long between pip and zip usually?

I'll guess 12 hours for a healthy hatch. Pretty quick.

My eggs...take 24 hours.

2/3 silkies still broody....I didn’t count eggs exactly but they are on about a dozen. the 2 original homegrown eggs are due Friday 31st. The remainder are due at same time as june hatch (around the 8th). we went ahead and let the pheasant/partridge group roam free last night as we have full-on summer temps right now. will probably move the 32 (2 weekers) to aviary brooder for the next week. 17 eggs last night!! seems like a couple more everyday and “egg-thirty” is 4:30-6pm

My eggs...take 24 hours.

Two hatched before I went to bed last night and woke up to two more. Not much action on the others but hard to tell with the goofballs rolling all the eggs around.
