Great picture! I haven't see that much unabsorbed yet. They're coming, hold on!Fingers crossed for a quick and healthy hatch.
I opened up my last egg—it was dead, as expected. Looks to have quit about a day before the others hatched. Was surrounded by unabsorbed yolk and quite a bit of congealed blood.
RIP little chick.
Fingers crossed for a quick and healthy hatch.
I would be so nervous! My Labrador looks sweetly at the babies, but I know he'd eat them up in a second.
I have 61 eggs in the incubator from my own little group of quails. I gathered over 11 days instead of 7 to get more eggs since I'm new to hatching quail, so hopefully that doesn't affect my hatch rate too much.
