if the “rodents” have wings!! last feeding was approximately 6:30 ish. i just went out again 9:30 and both feeders were empty! approximately 16 holes per feeder??? put 1 lb per feeder and again they were fighting for a space!!! these guys are “bottomless pits”

How many mouths you feeding? That seems to be an awful lot of feed!

oh and I forgot to mention the “private dining room” i put one of my small round feeders in the new hidey hutch to get them used to using it! I fill that one 2x dailey too! today, i found 4 eggs in there so quail are using it too!!

i have 40-50 quail, 3 silkies (2 broody), 3 chicken chicks (8 wks old) 7 pheasant 8 partridge (5-6 wks old) and 1 button (pretty sure he’s the big eater!)

y’all think?.? how much do yours go through per day? It works out to approximately 10 sq feet per bird in my aviary??

My adult quail go through about 3 cups of feed. I'll measure tomorrow.
7 adults.
