Ehh, idk, I still don’t say it that waynot that it’s wrong, different parts of the country (and world) speak differently but I usually would just say they turned x weeks old on x date or they are 6 weeks old or something like that haha but I think that ways cool ha and my mom had a bunch of speech therapy as a kid too I think and my brother and I did too I think but not a ton just some. But my mom is always pronouncing things “wrong” or whatever but I personally don’t think there’s such a thing as wrong haha but she also has trouble annunciating certain words and my brother sometimes does too. Especially when he was little, he had a lot of troubles annunciating words, hence the speech therapy lol, I just I guess had tongue thrusts or something haha anyway, our friends still sometimes make fun of us for pronouncing things wrong haha not really making fun of but more messing/joking around but still. My friends never really did except in like middle school when I still sometimes had speech and we were all hanging out outside the speech room one time (it was kind of near the front of the school/front hallway and door so we were just waiting there, not purposely near the room, which btw is tiny ha, anyway, the speech lady came out of the room, and my friends asked her how to pronounce and told her to tell me how to pronounce “pillow”
I guess it’s not pronounced the way I pronounced it apparently.
I didn’t really take it to heart and actually kind of thought it was funny and “argued” with them about it haha I said it was like tomayto tomahto and it didn’t really matter/that people pronounce it differently. I guess they thought it did
anyway, my brother though, all through college and in his dorm I guess his friends would always make fun of him/joke with him for pronouncing/saying stuff wrong but he’s a lot more sensitive so I think he took some of it to heart.
I need to know how you say pillow because I can't figure it out.
