My auction eggs arrive tomorrow.
I haven't even started building a new cage yet but my bator is up and running.

I'm really thinking about ordering three more larger rabbit cages with pull out trays to stack on top of my other three.

You made a mess out of that bird. It looks like the damage in your case was to the inner thighs. Did the skin get stuck there? I just chop the head and wings, cut out the vent and glans, gut, and then pull skin from neck to feet. Never had this sort of thigh damage.

I didn't order the three I have...Mex got them for me.
I'm trying to find some exactly like what I have online but I'm having trouble.

These that I have look like they are built sturdier than what I'm seeing online.

Remember I wrapped mine in hardware cloth too.
Except this one that I put the babies in had 1/4 hwc on the floor and I ripped that out quick. It was too small for me.

If I remember correctly two of the cages or 36x24 and the middle cage is 24x24, I think.

I want at least two more 36 cages.

I use the 24". I don't want to be trying to reach a stubborn bird in too big of a cage. I'm putting up more tomorrow, so I can divide them out more.

That's price for me. DIY is just so cheap. I could made another 8x3 ft cage for $35.
