Don't do it! You will be added to the menagerie! All those horror movies about hoarders and their basements! Be warned! Can i come live in your basement? Sounds perfect!![]()
I think I still have @Fire Ant Farm behind my fridge. Or maybe I'm behind hers? I can never remember.Don't do it! You will be added to the menagerie! All those horror movies about hoarders and their basements! Be warned!
That and the elves. Between the urchins and the elves you wouldn't get a moment of peace.
Say "hi" to Santa for me!
Kinda like the Men in Black lockers? Who would want to live in a locker in a bus station?I think I still have @Fire Ant Farm behind my fridge. Or maybe I'm behind hers? I can never remember.
You're not wrong there. Those elves never stop their clattering even in offseason.
Not many actual critters, but an awful lot of stuff for said critters. I have a chinchilla, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and a bunch of quail in the basement. Wait, two rabbits, at the moment. I also have all the incubators, all my hatching supplies, egg shipping supplies, spare crates, chick waterers, bird and goat medical supplies, and all my sewing and art supplies in there. The rest of the basement holds tools (not putting birds in there,) gardening supplies, bookshelves, food preserves, and the laundry room. Pretty packed, eh.
I've had parakeets for years and years. Finally got out of them just a couple years ago... I kind of miss them. The pair I had at the time was composed of two absolute basket cases, but I'd have kept the supplies if I had been thinking ahead. Stupid me, thinking I could ever get rid of a type of bird for good.![]()

I have an eye out for cages at yard sales.Aww you should get them again!!!![]()
I used to have goldfish. They were too much work, not enough fun. Their tanks now hold chicks.Oh wow that really is full!! Although for some reason I was imagining you had like a bunch of snakes and reptiles and fish and birds and rodents and stuff down there![]()

No, it's mine! Get your own.
I actually sleep down there too; the air conditioners I have aren't powerful enough to make the upstairs floor cool enough for my liking. In-ground basements are great year-round. Plus, no carpet, so no allergies.
Very common practice here in Panama, and much sought after too.

I keep them downstairs so that the dog doesn't eat them. I kept my rabbit in the living room pre-dogs. I've always been a barn rat, so I'm used to sleeping around critters. But now you can see why I want quail in the basement for as short of a time as possible.
Wow harsh!jk
But wait... you SLEEP down there too!? I thought you kept the animals down there so they would be away from you lol where does everyone else sleep?
Sounds awesome.
Wow you are living large!! Lol
potentially true!! Note she only listed the cute, fuzzy animals? A little suspicious if you ask me.
I bet they’re cute though at least, right?
Yeah but the locker is probably like the Tardis.... way bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside haha so it might not be so bad.
