They can not be kepted outdoors in winter. They can't take temps much below 50°F18 eggs. I really hope they develop—I just set them.
How have these things not gone extinct?? They sound too small to live. They're definitely going to have to stay indoors in winter.

Hubby had another epiphany today as to possible reason for the aggression.....we’ve been running an auto feeder with scratch (treats) in it and for chickens and coturnix it works fine overall but with the gamebirds we believe it has conditioned them to all rush the feeder (even when not hungry). So we going to pull it out immediately, add more waterers and temporarily move partridge to chicken area until we figure out more permanent separation of the aviary.
.....if I’m correct and only have 2 males and 6 females, we may just remove the 1 male and keep the rest longer! Same with pheasants just keep the 1 male and all females

If they are cooking in the truck, put them in the incubator ASAP, don't let them sit at room temp or you'll loose them. Just don't turn the turner on or if you hand turn, then don't.
