➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Call them now and see what they say.

I don’t have their number lol I meant to ask/tell my aunt about the quail cause she brought up about him knowing how to pluck since we were talking about chickens and the garden but then the subject changed. But I will have to next time I see them or if I see him at the feed store. He manages one of the feed stores I go to so I can ask him then. But I don’t even really have to ask because they’re all really nice and I’m sure he would be more than happy to help out if/when I’m ready.

Even when I have 4 babies pop out without any feet issues, I still lose one. Running around this morning and looked ill an hour ago. Back into the incubator brooder in case of temperature issues and gone. Drank a bit. I don't understand quail.

Other 3 running around their box eating. Thankful for these 3.

Yes, I got worried about them being too cold last night and they slept in the incubator at 90°F. Warm and cozy until this morning. Still running a balmy 84 here in the swamp. I like the cold snap.

Do you offer nutri drench? If i saw one looking off id give it a drip directly

No progress this morning.

I'm worried about the humidity level while I'm at work. I'm scared to open the incubator to fill one of the water channels with the pipped egg(s) (I only see one, but it's hard to see through the incubator walls), but putting water in a pipette at a time isn't going to work well and fills the wrong channel. There are several channels, two narrow and three wide. Filling a narrow channel gives about a 65% humidity level that drops to about 40% in 2-4 hours. Filling a wide channel puts it up to 80% or over, still dropping to about 40% in 2-4 hours.
