Good to know what the hatchery is asking thats probly bottom dollar and thats what i ask live 5$ each extra male hens are undetermined but i have a waiting list for reds.

Crunching numbers to figure out grow out cost --ill have more on that in a moment.

7$ each for 12 is freakn 84$ can i really ask that of him? They have been so good to us, even sent 100$ worth of Christmas presents for the kids, lived here 3 years. I sent them cupcakes, they sent me a cake. 5$ each is 60, thats doing pretty good i think.



Thanks, thats what i figured on. Come winter that crock pot will make some good ole hot meals. No ma'am i kinda dont like rabbits I had em a few yrs ago, didnt do well with them. one wouldnt mate, one escaped and got eaten by the dog never did have babies. too hot here too i was so worried about heat stroke had to run a fan constantly.

thats the pansy type kinda of a barred pattern with gold splotches underneath on a whiteish silver backround

I can pick out the zebras ( what are my zebras really called?) but all the other colors are blending together and I already can't tell who is who.

Mr. Blue is doing wonderfully, thankfully. He is getting massive! So are Susie and Cali, but in roll-of-fat form, so diet time for them. My two little rex are doing great too.

It was Fiona Who had no place in my breeding plan and was for sale, but was a sweetheart and I'm sad. I'm glad she at least keeled over while still at my place - unfortunately, the same thing happened to Tuka, a rabbit *I* was supposed to pick up, at another breeders the week before! They are silly fragile things.

Yeah, a lot of shippers are halting all batches into CA right now as well as out, which I do understand and also is a bummer :/

I think you are right, between the chest spots and prominent breast (anyone else feel like their females are usually boobier??).

I think that's probably a silver+pansy mix of some kind. I have more luck paying attention to what color babies they throw with mystery mixes like that.

For m my original quail...all of my males are smaller.
This one that is tricking me has always been big.
Here it is in the left next to a for sure girl on the right.

So are you saying yes it is probably a girl?


They don't keep still long enough for a good photo.

I've decided she is a girl again.
She has no rust on her head/face like my other boys.
