Yes to all of them! Have you read any David Weber? If you like Elizabeth Moon, you'll like David Weber. Just quit reading the Honor Harrington series after book 6 or so. The rest of his books are great, though.

David Weber is awesome. I love the Honor Harrington series but I can only get up to War of Honor, then I get stuck. Seriously I've read the series twice now to that book and then get bogged down, it's way too political for what I usually like to read. I think I made it halfway through this time, it's just sitting there waiting, I packed up all my other books but left that one out so if I wanna read that's my option. Packing to get ready to sell a house makes things interesting.

And yes I was noticing the Redfin listed wayyyy more details on the houses than Zillow ever did haha

I’m gonna have to check Realtor too. I guess maybe the key is to check a few of them and compare? If the same house is on a few?
Usually the house info is on all the sites, but might not show the same things. Yes, definitely want to look at all the sites possible to get the most data. Also do NOT click on the "contact me" type link on any of those sites unless you want to be inundated with calls from realtors who want to help you buy/sell so they can get commission. They are persistent, but that's how they make money.

My friend was selling his condo in Roseville and they were listed on Realtor. Zillow kept jumping the list price all over the place even though it hadn't actually changed, and also showed that it had been foreclosed on within the prior two years. The house had been in their family for decades and not foreclosed. Zillow usually shows higher estimated values too, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what side of the buy/sell transaction you are on.

Yeah, it just seemed like there were more details on some of the other sites but idk

And yeah, definitely won’t do that! Haha I imagine that’s a pain.

And OMG wow really!? That is insane!! Not sure I trust Zillow now haha how am I supposed to know which ones right!?

@Sara L

Did they correct the info!? How did they make such a big mistake!? I just can’t comprehend how they could be so wrong haha and especially that they would just post wrong information without contacting the seller or realtor first and confirming??
Cause they pull the data from "public" sites or sources, and if their algorithm is off or someone screwed up the info, then it shows wrong info. Garbage in, garbage out. It's not people updating a lot of the info, it's computer coding and bots.

He did sell the house without issues.

Yeah, I have a few realtors in my family and they HATE Zillow for just this reason. It gives a lot of people unrealistic expectations when buying or selling a house

Ahh okay that makes sense then. Didn’t realize it was computers but should have realized it wasn’t people when they have thousands of listings haha

Glad he sold it though.

Yeah I can see why!! Must cause a nightmare too when someone calls inquiring about a house and then the price and/or the info is wrong on the house and you have to tell them that!!

The Honor Harrington series just goes downhill from that. Chapters and chapters of politics and preaching without any of the action I read the books for. The Stephanie Harrington books get back to that spirit.

Most of them pull data from MPLS. The key is how frequently they refresh they pull data on new listings and refresh data on existing listings. I found Redfin to be the most user friendly and frequently updated option. BTW, I heard about it from a mortgage broker who told me it's the her own source of choice.

I took a few minutes yesterday to cover the brooder with some vinyl window screen scraps. It's working well. I just overlapped two scrap pieces and stapled them along one side of the brooder and then stapled the other end to a piece of 1x4 I had laying around. the 1x4 holds down that side and allows us to pull back the cover.
