Ours isn’t heated but we also don’t even put the cars in it. :lau

But I think some people like it so the car isn’t a literal ice box lmao also sometimes the cars won’t even start if it’s too cold and also they get covered in snow outside the garage and then you gotta scrape it off which is a pain the ass haha

That is a really good way to lose fingers when the mittens get caught by the saw blade.
Hence why you heat your garage!
I have a SawStop and use push blocks rather than my hands if at all possible... but still. I'd rather not leave the number of fingers I have to any form of chance if I possibly can.

It's rather annoying when you have somewhere to be and your car refuses to start. I'll be glad when the garage is built.

I bet!! It normally isn’t really that cold here that ours won’t start thankfully but some of our older cars you do have to turn a few times in the cold to get them to start haha

Also the defrosting is a pain in the rear. When I was still going to school I once forgot to turn it on before I left and of course left last minute and ended up being late or almost late because I had to wait for the ice to defrost off the windshield as well as scrape the snow off the roof so it wouldn’t fall onto the windshield when I was driving. :lau huge pain in the rear. I get out to the car, hop in, ready to leave and I’m like CARP. :lau

I scrape the windshields daily in winter.

I don't understand this yet.

It gets friggin’ frigid here. What’s not to understand? :lau Also, the (diesel) tractor likes being warm and we might need it to dig out. We (speaking for my family at least) do not own an air conditioner. We might use one for maybe a month all year. Sometimes you wish you had one but on balance it’s not worth all the ductwork and etc.

I have a window AC, just because we're all pansies and die if we can't cool off after working outside.
