She doesn't like getting them done, she just paints them. She hates computers/can't sit on devices for any length of time.

I feel bad for laughing, but that's really funny.

I was laughing/yelling at her. She think I'm going to chop off her head if she ever has a stroke. It's ridonk.

Temp was always lower tho. Next time I hatch I'm gonna do something not celadon and I reckon it will go wayyyy better. When CC hatched the first batch the mortality/early quitting was way higher. Gotta be their bonked genetics.

yes we have full assortment which includes everything!!! you could get rare, tuxedo, silvers, and/or jumbos!

we split the assortment as I won 120 eggs and didn’t have enough room in the bators. @Texas Kiki won the pansy auction.

yes I have or had basically every color and many variations.....with exception of full celadon layers (which hopefully I have some now with these hatches) my current flock has jumbo, pansy, pearl-pansy, falb-fee, grau-fee, pearl, tibetan, scarlet,rosetta, italian, ssc, tuxedos, sparkly, german pastel, egyptian, and there’s mr. squeakers that is a color that I’m not sure of yet. since I have all mixed together, I’ve even gotten some from my homegrown that are not “recognized” colors!

that’s the million dollar question in all of our minds right now as i’ve had “wonky” hatches every time i had celadons!!! i think they are way more susceptible to DIS, and early death;otherwise they would be more readily available!

thanks!! I just candled all 90! (day 5 and day 7) I pulled 19 total from both batches as clears/early quitters....only 2 left in as “maybes”. 2 pulled were of the 4 celdons

update on homegrown hatch.....(day 16,15,14) 22 eggs total......a few external pippers! raised humidity to 40ish this afternoon. not sure yet if we are going to camper tomorrow-sunday or just sat-sun yet so will be showing my son how to check and regulate humidity in addition to checking on other birds! i have plenty of feeders/waterers for the aviary and chickens for weekend trip now, but birds seem to know “treat time” now and i’m not sure they will be very happy if we miss one or two!!!!
