I still almost died when he said three and a half quail per square foot. That kills me.

So i watched the whole Myshire vid plus some extra ones to see what hes got goin on over there. Pretty nice. There are some things i choose to do differently like the space and some things i think he could learn from us but all in all seems like a decent guy whos jus tryn to earn a living. That conveyer belt system is pretty cool for a shed set up @BReeder! I bet you could replicate it if you set your mind and budget to do so.

It was great meeting @el dorado quail today. I learned a lot at the seminar.

I just fired up the incubator. I have a batch of eggs arriving on Friday. I think I'm going to sneak a few of the eggs from my covey to see what hatches.


I can label the eggs, but how will I keep track of which chicks hatch from which eggs?!

I made a separator with paper with 18 or more squares. then i cut some dishcloth stuff to put on the top of it. I'd post a pick but my phone wont let me. Generally it looks like a bunch of boxes put together with enough space for a chick to hatch out.

Guys I am creating a spreadsheet for my usage, something like the Coturnix Calculator, but only from real life experience.
Example:
male Pharaoh + female Golden Manchurian => 40% Golden Manchurians, 60% Pharaohs... (this is just an example).
So if anyone has ever kept track of parents colors and hatched chicks colors, could you please send them to me so I include them?
I will post this in the other thread as well, so hopefully more people could contribute. OR if anyone has already started collecting such data maybe could share and have it available for everyone to read?

I wonder if there is a way to share all of my Google at once?

If you have all of your quail and poultry stuff in a folder on google the you could make that whole folder shareable using link sharing
