I don't think any of us ever will!

Sure ya will!! Just takes time I’m sure.

Although that said, it does seem like some of the colors kind of overlap and/or are hard to distinguish from one another.

But I’m sure there must be clear differences we’re missing once you “see it” or know about them haha

Why is redhead on none of my lists. It's a thing. I know it's a thing. Apparently it hasn't been studied much.

Also @Texas Kiki we think your red-eyed girl might be a sex-linked cinnamon.

You did! I actually have never kept many golden-types? Only a few? So I have to double check against pictures all of the time. When you said that I realized how odd his head was and when I double checked manchurians usually keep their little cheek stripes even if their heads are pretty solidly colored.

It's a color/gene. Just not a very common or well described one. I am trying to cobble together the best info sources for them now.
