He is so little the teeny meat on him wouldn't even be enough for the faker.
Oh wow that’s small!

That makes sense then.
Maybe he could be composted.

I'm not there yet.
Some of the ones I had, were big as jumbos, they weren't weak and just as healthy as the the ones with spots...infact you couldn't tell if there was a difference in size, between the two.Shouldn't you breed against that? I was told to get the head spots-- that the ones who come out plain are weaker and smaller and shouldnt be bred. the ones with spots on their wings are targets for bullys. Is this correct? Not an entirely reliable source-- hes one of those who had birds and sold them to me when i got started 5 yrs ago and he washed out since then.
Here's what I'm using as a main source for coloring: https://monkau.weebly.com/varieties.html
I got my A&M's by mistake. The guy I ordered from had them too, problem was I ordered African Harlequin quail eggs...and got A&M eggs instead.![]()

Yep, got the eggs but none hatched, I ordered some from a 'real' breeder and hatched 26/30 eggs.Had to Google those. Pretty birds!! But definitely a big mistake.
Did you ever get your African Harlequin quail!?

Since im working with a colored flock for now its not out of the range of possiblity but im really not interested in having them again.
