I thought of sharing these pictures of a new couple that I have - a quail hen who fell in love with a 2-month old cockerel. They met several days ago and now they kiss, clean each other, dig dirt together and she often sleeps under his wing.

Awwwwe, the heart wants what the heart wants, right?

The dead looking one (top left)...hims gray.

It's so funny when they stretch out dead like that!!! Here's chirping & egg rocking in the bator this morning . There's so much variety in this hatch, I love it! Pics of #16 & #17.

so i noticed something new this morning that I need help with! anyone ever seen a “bearded” coturnix?? my male grau tux is sporting a full-on fumanchu/goatee......lmk if you guys have seen any like this and I will try to get some photos as soon as possible!!!

Nope hadnt seen that Muddy! Awaiting pics

Todays catch so far

3 more are externally pipped and then 3 more havent done anything. One was crossbeak and missing an eye, culled immediately

Didn’t realize you were hatching more chicks!! Must have missed that somehow haha

Nice! The little white ones are pearls right?

Yes ma'am some of em at least the one in the bottom right hand corner might be Italian. One has the Faintest little lines also, not black but grey lines, so i think itll be snowie
