Exactly. I'm gonna do a major downsizing of my flock, hopefully that'll make for a less stressed flock & help them stay healthier. :fl
Never in my life did I expect to cull 20+ birds in an hour!!!! Still have 10-15 left to cull after the antibiotic withdrawal period so they can go to "FREEZER CAMP". A guinea dropped an egg while I was chasing chickens around, I'm guessing she was trying to make sure I knew she was earning her keep!

This is Cleo. She is already tame! I can hold her and she will just sit on my lap.

She's pretty! I've got one that looks just like her, just younger (and I think 3 boys like her). Some of my boys are crowing nonstop all day!!!

Kinda hard to tell but it might be a Pansy.
It is so cute! Glad that hatch is over (fast hatch), it only lasted day #16 & #17 (just over 24 hr).

Come on little babies you can do it!!!! :celebrate:wee
I can SEE five pips right now, none have hatched yet.....:fl
It's a waiting game!!!!:pop

A little drastic! :lau I too, have a few pens with custom ventilation!
I wasn't even mentioning that I ventilated the laying box at the same time!!!:idunnoOne does what one has to in order to protect the flock, right!?

What do you have right now? I only have nine chickens and 4 ducks... I have 21 meat chicks, but they are still inside making a mess!
NOW I have +/-50 chickens, 8 ducks, 12 Bobs, 38 Coturnix, 5 goats.......:th
Yeah, I gotta OFF another 10-20 chickens. :oops:I should've never let them bantams sit on them tiny bantam eggs:barnie. This next year if they want to sit they can sit on a batch of BIG (freezer camp) eggs!!!:drool

Can you take a picture with the red light off?

She wanted to make sure she wasn't going to get culled :lau

When my chickens aren't laying eggs, I usually tell them that the dogs are getting mighty hungry. Next day there's always eggs :gig
