i was just thinking of wrapping heating pad or hanging light over top like usual? i need to order some ceramic reptile bulbs or possibly get a 125 bulb for inside??

I think any of them work as long as they're warm enough. The open sides are just going to let the heat out, so if you wrap them and leave the top open, you get ventilation and too much of the heat doesn't escape.

Do you know what time it is? It's egg o'clock. This is about the time that my one hen usually lays her egg. I found two again today!

I noticed he was turned around...so he wasn't stuck.

So I helped a little more.

He did the rest.

Now I can sleep.
Well in an hour or so once I move him, then I will sleep.

Crunchy...I'm going to have to get the gunk off his head before it gets stuck.

Crunchy has grey on his side leg/thigh whatever it's called area.

Yes my finger is not that big and it swamps the egg and that is one of the larger eggs!
