➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

i was just thinking of wrapping heating pad or hanging light over top like usual? i need to order some ceramic reptile bulbs or possibly get a 125 bulb for inside??
You might use a seedling starter pad under the bedding/puppy pad. I got a couple on Amazon, cheap. I used them under goslings, then ducks. They wipe clean. Fab! They’re just gently warm so might not be sufficient in themselves for super teeny-tinies.

I do like the reptile bulbs. They’re kind of pricey, but maybe they last a long time. I’m vewy, vewy careful with them. It’s nice, to be able to sleep in the dark. Less cheeping, at least with chicken, turkey, duck & goose babies.

If you find the 125w red bulb, let me know...those things are as scarist as hens teeth!

i’m sure i’ll have to go there again this weekend  if i find the reds i’ll start stocking up and send u some!
That would be swell. Lowe's, HD, and the feed stores here don't have anything but the 250w in red or white. Running 10 or 12, 250 watters makes the AC run all the time not to mention the electric bill from all those watts. :barnie

of course if usps handles bulbs anything like eggs, they may not make it intact!:lau
