Well I just hatched one of its babies and it came out the same as it’s mom so I will just hatch more from that hen and then what?

Exactly!!! Probably nothing but squirrel nests, acorns & hickory nuts under that hood!!! Yep, it's a TA! It has a long ways to go and a long time to get there!!!

All I have to say is, "Finally!" I'm not sure if the third falb fee is finally laying or if it's one of these two that I put in there a few weeks ago.

I'm not 100% sure that either of them are hens, but since I've never heard them crow and they're not fighting with the new silver boy I put in with them...

Do you have separate pens for different breeding groups? If yes, put her with whatever male you used to get the last chick that you liked the color. Then hatch as many of her eggs as you can. Then put the daughters with best color (maybe 2 groups?) With a good male with no tuxedo markings and see if the grandbabies have the markings you want. Keep a few of her sons with good markings and put with a group or two of non-tuxedo hens and see if their babies are good color.

Where did you get the hen from? Can you get more from that source?

I got 10 quail eggs yesterday & today!
@Kiki see that funky little egg? That is from the prolapse hen, yay, an almost normal egg!!! I had one hen lay 2 eggs today, is that crazy unusual??? She skipped yesterday though ...

Every day?

Big ones everyday, huge ones about every 4th egg. She'll skip a day before the big one comes....

Do you know who lays these big ones?
What color she is?

I do... she's the one behind Mr Roo Dilute!!!

I think the threats that @Matieus27 recommended worked.

They saw I was serious about getting rid of non-laying hens last weekend and figured they'd better start laying.

We are supposed to learn from our mistakes & bad decisions. So we elders try to impart upon you younger generations our knowledge in order to save you stress &/or heartache along the way.

Oh yeah I totally get that and appreciate that. And I’ve decided to cancel the order. But it’s just my current ones are all healthy and happy in their current conditions. At least the adults. Do need to move the chicks outside

I do wish I could build my girls as big an area as yours though

But I’m thinking I might buy more kennels and expand the width too as well as the length instead of only the length like I was originally planning.

Hey girl, I've got turkey & quail in my house right now so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. My DH helped with the creation of my pen, and it has spread gradually too....
I've got to finish my new Bobwhite enclosure before I can start on a new turkey coop..... yeah, I get ahead of myself too. Then I can use the Bobs old pen for Coturnix or baby chickens!!!
