No new buttons this morning. :-( I'll keep the eggs in the incubator until my new batch of eggs arrives or Friday morning, whichever comes first, but I'm not expecting more.

This is what I have, though, and they're soooo cute! They are even more active than coturnix chicks and really won't sit still. They even seem to sleep in seconds.

That would be about right, to see if it's something I'd want. I've got 106 quail eggs in my incubator, lockdown is Friday!!!
I have 14 chicken eggs that lockdown on Monday!!!

I'm actually happy with four. As you said, it's enough for me to decide if they're what I want or not.

I'm so bored at work. I'd rather be home playing with chicks. They're funny. If I put my hand in the brooder they run away, but the moment I start tapping, they all come running to my fingers.

This is day 3 of the Malted Milk Ball hatch (QB#9 and first of 2020 for me), is it too early to candle? I might be out of practice. Would I see anything? Probably not.

QB#10 eggs still being collected. That one hen in Set1 is giving us a single egg every day. Will be interesting to see if they are fertile. I've had light on them for 3 days now. Still a single egg. Took 2 weeks to spool up last time. Chances are there will only be 10 eggs added to the incubator this weekend. We will be laying for QB#11 in a month!
