Is it time to candle for clears on the second batch yet?

Well, I did candle last night & it looks like 12 clears. Official announcement will be Sunday. That gives them 7 days.

I’m starting to collect again. Setting both eggs from today.

The first is falb fee from the post office abused batch. The second is from my home grown SSC pen, the last is from my home grown mixed pen. The ones from my mixed pen are pretty hard to see into. I candled four or five of them and this was the best one.

The first one looks crappy like mine.
I am ready for this hatch to be over with already.

I guess I will stop complaining about my eggs.

30 Pansy Fee set, pulled 3 clears. 27 growing.
3 HG set...3 growing.

day 7 candling....25 still look good, 2 look like probable EQ....1 shell got cracked by the turner arm and other had a small crack too....left them in for a few more days anyway.....i will be happy with 12-15 healthy chicks from this batch

i forgot to mention last night that I collected 5 button eggs......so either 1 hen had 2 saved up or I have a new layer!!
