Dude. You haven't had a retail/office job before. How could you possibly know if it's more work? It isn't, by the way. I've done both. Working in an office is significantly more work unless your job is to stuff envelopes and pull staples. You might die of boredom, though.Also, all of that said, dog walking/pet sitting is a perfectly valid job. It’s not just for kids anymore. Plenty of people make careers in the pet industry. In fact, it’s one of the fastest growing industries right now. So the implication from everyone that it’s not real or that it’s just an excuse to avoid finding a “real” one or I’m just lazy is also highly unappreciated. It’s actually a helluva lot more work than any retail or office job would be.
No one said walking dogs isn't a job. Walking dogs a couple times a week sporadically is not a job that will allow you to have financial freedom any time soon.
The point everyone is trying to make is to quit talking and start doing.
