How many did you end up setting, clears, early Quitters...hatched? I had added this Valentine's hatch to me sheet. I need details.

Perfect timing, I was just checking on them. So far 20 fluffies in the brooder and 6 in the incubator! There's one pip with a beak sticking out who is driving me nuts taking his sweet time to hatch. Of course, 6 hatched during the anatomy practical from Hell, just as I predicted when they were shipping

Speaking of anatomy, would you guys be interested in a clinical quail anatomy or home necropsy tutorial? I've learned quite a bit from my veterinary studies that has definitely helped me with understanding these little guys and am thinking of making a down and dirty run through of the important stuff in a few weeks when these guys head off to freezer camp

We used to have French Mastiffs, a great breed too

Well I’m sure you will eventually get around to hatching more! If you have a bachelor pen you can pick and choose who stays with the ladies when you do think about hatching more

Yes, and make that 29 Falb Fee eggs. My turner motor just derailed the turner and dumped all of the eggs. One broke.
