➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

So let’s just say, hypothetically, someone was interested in hatching button quail but only wanted to keep one pair. What do you do with the extra? With coturnix you can just eat the extras. The fakers are so tiny though!
Asking for a friend.
I'm going to guess you make dog treats. Ask me again in a few weeks.

True. Not so much with the current pandemic I’m thinking. :( Also it could be the extra social distancing time that is making me, I mean my friend, even contemplate the whole thing.

Do you house the four together?
Yes, though I'm keeping a close eye in case they start to fight. I have 3 hens and 1 roo.

I cannot believe that little babies come out of these tiny things.
Think... The babies fit in there. That's how small they'll be.

They aren't going to be real.
The mini just said they might be able to live in his room once they hatch.

Ohhhh...

with their bantam mom has 9 keets under her, 5 eggs to go. (2 white keets so far)
Had to share... also got 12 olive eggs suppose to hatch tomorrow or Thursday (whenever mother nature decides) under a Miss Fatty Black Copper Maran. Plus another 6 & 11 more guinea eggs under a couple more hens & 6 chicken eggs under a bantam cochin pullet. Not to mention the duck eggs in the incubator.....
