I clean the brooder once max. Sometimes I do put them out as soon as they stink the first time.

Most babies are cute until that digestive system gets you. One end or the other, it will get you.

I just weighed a few babies to see what they were at. The two pharoahs are double the weight of the little Rosetta-Fee-Thing babies.

I didn't weigh the others because there's no way I'm going to able to tell them apart, lol.

Cant see into the Hatcher as I put covers over the trays to keep what hatches in the tray.

But I hear peeping coming from the Hatcher so 1 has made it out or close to it

Dinner tonight: Quail risotto.

Husband and one kid gave rave reviews. The little one looked at her plate, declared she wouldn’t eat it, and ran away. This is not an unusual response from her though.

I did added some water. it's a yellow one with stripes. But didnt see any more popping out to join him yet.

So I have a hen that appears to be dragging a leg. I picked her up and didn’t see any obvious injury. Any thoughts on what it might be? She looks healthy otherwise but it is a chilly day so I didn’t spend much time examining her.
