Ended up with 49 hatching out overnight so a total of 70 so far. Will see if there are any stragglers today. Then this hatch will be done.

Well I woke to chicks cheeping in the bator I was so excited only to find pipped eggs and chicks cheeping through the pips but BABIES INCOMING!!!!!!

I have no eggs in my 'fridge. Well, okay, I have five dozen, but they're all packaged up and ready to go to a buyer today. When he said he wanted five dozen I asked to make sure he understood that they were eating eggs, and he did.

I was sooo lucky. I thought I was going to have to tell him that I was 3 eggs short on his order, but I went out for one more check of my pens and found 3 eggs!

I had two chicks hatch early this morning. Now They are running around bumping the other eggs and just being little terrors. I may have put to many eggs in here at lockdown? Is this a problem?

Chick soccer is pretty normal. I do take chicks and empty shells out every few hours though.

i have external pips on several eggs so should hatch right on time!! pips look to be mostly on color assortment so far.....button eggs go into lockdown on wednesday so hopefully the coturnix will be almost done by then!! I better start getting brooders ready!!
