I don't even know if the fish tank selling store is open. I have no idea what I'm going to do with the fakers. I'm counting them before they hatch. I just saw movement in 3/4.

They are going to have to live in a container for a while.

You put them in a tank? I have a reptile one I should use probably be easier than a box

pet stores are still considered essential business here....if all else fails, you can start them in your brooder and move to a hamster or bird cage....you just want very small openings in the wire.....

i need to take my phone outside tomorrow and get pics of the buttons, pf, budgies, and finches in the aviary.....they are all doing well and that might give you more size reference too....
I started getting coturnix eggs today (2 collected, and 2 eaten by birds) the finches have a new clutch of eggs in their coconut house.

7 generations? That'll take forever! Especially since I'm not breeding that much. But yes, time and effort. He is serious and I'm only playing at all this. He probably has more cages than me too.
