My calibrated thermometers are reading 100.So it was too low? I have a million thermometer/hygrometer things atm and almost threw them out recently cause I have nowhere to put them and they were annoying me just sitting thereI kept them though cause I figured I might need them if I ever hatched again. Which I probably won’t now but still. Funny too considering all the other stuff everywhere but this one little ziplock baggie of thermometers was annoying me

Stop hoarding crap just to throw it away.
This drives me NUTS!
Ohhhh okay that makes sense now. Sorry, I thought you were saying it was reading 96 right nowMy calibrated thermometers are reading 100.
I stuck a brand new theremometer in this afternoon, right next to a known theremometer. It's ready 104.
If I took out my known thermometers and only had this brand new one in the bator I would turn the bator down (if I didn't know it was reading too high) and this would not be good or correct because I would be dropping the temp by four degrees. This would make the brand new thermometer read 100 but in reality it would be reading 96.
I can not explain it in any other way. Does it make sense this time?
Can you put a book under one side of the bator to tilt the eggs and move the book a few times each day...to the other side of the bator? She’s in good company; I played safe this time, I really want them to hatch (which means they probably wont, you know, Murphy’s law and all that).
Upright makes sense, that’s usually what I do with my shipped eggs. I have a hate on for auto turners this yearI may have to MacGyver something.
I'd like to shake her some days....by the throat.
