Not too much in the overall scheme of things.....I “wasted” some in the beginning by trying to go on the cheap.....but all in total including plants, mulch etc I have 1500-2000 or less total investment......a “small” part of the total property investment

So I have a 8x8 bird kennel. I want to try to fix it up for the quail. It has a roof and is fully enclosed. I just need to figure things out.

Can roses be with them

I haven’t tried roses but I’d say they’d be fine.....basically want something non-toxic that the cant eat or dig up!!!! Durable netting was by far the biggest cost for me and commensurate to size.......my hd netting for the size requirement was 300+$

I can put wire like chicken wire around the roses so they don’t go crazy with them. We did that in the chickens run with my roses.

I have a bunch of external pips now so hopefully tomorrow I’ll have some quail.
