➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Thank you quail gods! 1st baby is hatching as we speak and it looks like 3 other eggs are alive too although I think around 2 days behind the 1st, the remaining 2 I've seen no visible change/ones aircell is in the wrong position so I'm hedging my bets. But since the humidity/drowning scare I want to be sure . HOW LONG CAN THEY STAY IN THE BATOR? I can leave chickens in for 3 days straight whith feed and water I know from experience. But what about quail? Will it be fine till tommorow morning if I wake up around 7? It pipped this afternoon around 1 and appears to be working its way to hatching by morning if not likely before then.

Do not leave them in the incubator for 24 hours.
Overnight is fine but not 24 hours.

Yes it will be perfectly fine until tomorrow morning.

@Kiki thank you! brooder is setup is all ready, I was just worried about tonight but I'll definitely remember it for reference 👍
What does the floor of your incubator look like?
Do you have grippy shelf liner in there?

@Kiki nope, still need to find my shelf liner in all our boxes, I took window frame material and put it along the bottom to give grip, they were going to be hatching in my large hovabator which has a good enough floor to prevent splay leg but I swapped them into my Rcom due to humidity concerns and so have to make do with window fabric
