Does the fitbit group come with reminders for me to actually put on my fitbit in the morning?
My steps are so low right now because half the time I don’t even remember and leave it on the charger for 2-3 days at a time... I swear!

So I ended up helping two of the males. One of the birds in the quarantine pen was a jerk and attacked them again. We’ll see what happens with the other five. How do people with larger amounts of birds even get them to butchering age without the darn things massacring each other?

The SSC hatch is done. I had a first in this one. A chick pipped, zipped, got out and died.

@Kiki batch went into lockdown today. Pulled 4 clears, 24 went into lockdown.

The dark one is a meanie. I saw him grab one of the little yellows by the tail and drag it backwards.

just noticed i’ve got some really good external pips in the hatcher (ringneck eggs). will hopefully have some chicks by this evening!! i’ve definitely got plenty of work to do that will keep me from hovering

Turns out Wonky, the chick with with wonky neck also has this white on ‘her’ wings She’s feathering much much slower than all the others.

They definitely are the only two with it out of the batch. I’ll keep you updated with how they continue to feather out.

If it does happen to be the albino gene, and these two ended up being Male and female would their chicks be white? I never knew of any California quails being white before!

You would probably have a fit with keets as they grab toes and try to eat them.

Finally got enough work completed that DH gave me a pool pass for a couple hours!!!

@Kiki i set 49 quail eggs I set them may 17 I need to candle again and pull out any clears and let you know how are left
