Has anyone tried the water cups with their quail?

I just bought some and I have a few buckets so I was going to make one for the quail to see how they like it.

I plan to keep 10 of these. These will be my celadon breeders. I'm not 100% sure on which ones I plan to keep, but probably the solid tibetan, the silver tux, and there are a couple that look almost like grau fee. Personality will matter too, but this bunch has been handled enough between me and my roommate that they're all pretty calm.

I have a celadon layer and I put her eggs in the bator. I want to have more celadon layers in the future so hopefully I can get males and females so I can accomplish this.

First 2 eggs from @Kiki ‘s pansy fees yesterday! My own that were hatched at the same time are slacking... I think a lot are boys though

No. It's no where near 100% that they will lay blueish.

Okay that’s what I figured. I’m going to try a celadon pen and see what happens.

Still haven’t made my cages or pens I’m going to get my dads circular saw because it’s newer and easier to use.

2 of the quail with curled feet passed away. 3 I put in the brooder and magically they corrected themselves Not sure how that happened, but I can’t even tell them apart from the others.

Good morning! I came down to rocking and peeping but no babies yet. Got several with big holes and little beaks poking through but no zips. How do y’all do this more than once in a lifetime???
