I am on my hotspot right now so i can't upload any pictures but i'm supposed to get internet Tuesday so as soon as that happens i should be able to upload pictures.

Bad news, boss decided she doesn't want the little runt in her flock. She attacked her and a few joined in. Gladly I still have two of the sorted out juvenile hens with me and they are getting along great with my little bug. She is an indoor quail for now until she grows up (always two weeks behind) and then I am going to try to integrate her again. At least her head feathers are coming in now.

That quail that hatched yesterday is hanging out with the other quail in the brooder. It took no time for it to find the food and water. It’s so darn cute! I’m excited for the others to start hatching.

WOW...wish I could hatch quail... I feel like a hataholic already but uh...I’ve never hatched anything before....I only recently got chickens with a lot of convincing....my parents are not keen on quail...maybe one day...I already have a suitable coop...this is a lot of “...’s”....but I will follow this thread ‘cos frankly quail are adorable!

I have gone to lock-down this noon with the Celadons.
12 were unfertilized, 9 quitters from 99 set up. So 78 are in lock-down
