Remember the guy I gave some quail eggs to a couple of weeks ago so his dad could hatch them?

I figured they should have hatched by now so today I remembered to ask.
None hatched.
He thinks the incubator overheated.

I just collected the eggs above today and I'm going to leave them sitting on my counter overnight.
I asked them if they would like me to hatch some quail for them. I'm waiting for the response.

Double yolker? Don't expect it to hatch.

Sounds like they need pointers on incubation. Do they have multiple thermometers? Etc?

I made the feed pans for the quail condo and the water system is pretty much completed. Pretty much ready for inhabitants

I would want that quality in any line I would have.

Some quail throw double yolkers when they start laying. 17 grams looks like a double yolker. Most of the time the quail gets her plumbing straight after a couple of weeks.

I think the one that was throwing doubles for me died before the others.
