It's lockdown! Only 46 coturnix eggs made it to lockdown. Out of 20 of my HG eggs, only 1 developed. I lost 4 to my turner breaking in a violent manner, crushing the eggs when it went.
The K.Dale eggs have a great development rate. Two were cracked when I got them, but I have 45 that show really good development with a fair amount of movement.

i think i lockdown tomorrow night.....my eggs took a bit of a detour and arrived a day or so later than yours even though i’m closer

Can anyone recommend good incubators? I only have a handful of females so a small one would be good. We just starting getting eggs... so I an going to wait a bit. Just want a head start!!

If you buy a small one and like hatching, you will wish you'd started with a larger, high quality one. A large, high quality one is hard to justify until you figure out if you are going to stick with this hobby.
What's your budget?
Do you want to hand turn? If not buy a turner (recommend).
Do you want still air? I recommend forced air.
In Florida, I'll guess you don't need a auto humidity controller.

Put eggs in lockdown tonight!!! I’m hoping to get the grow-outs moved tomorrow or Saturday.....process a half dozen or so adults and figure out what to do with the spoiled runt babies so I can bring the brooder box back inside
The runts have been inside with the heat lamp so I know I can’t put them in with the grow outs.....I will probably put them out in the shed and see how they do until the new babies are big enough to join them
