Did I miss something on Facebook? The Newbie Quail Lovers Facebook page by MyShire kicked me off :-( and when I went back it said it only has 816 members? Wasn’t it up to like 20k? I found it weird that I wasn’t seeing any of their posts anymore…I know I hadn’t done anything to get kicked out—anyone know what happened?

PETA bought a big enough share of Facebook to have a seat on the board. The no live animal sales was always a rule but PETA is the driving force behind the enforcement of the rule.

Ahhhh this explains a LOT! I have gotten flagged twice for trying to rehome roosters on my local poultry Facebook pages too! Didn’t even say anything about money, just that they were looking for new zip codes. How obnoxious…thanks for the info!

Yeah. Even eggs are considered live animals. I got most of my egg sales through FB until all of my ads started getting flagged.

The main reason that PETA bought into Facebook was to put a stop to all the anti PETA posts on Facebook. Very clear censorship of Free Speech.

I like many of the ideas that PETA says they support, but they are incredibly hypocritical and seem to have lost touch with reality. I can't stand the organization.

I 100% agree. They are completely disconnected with logic, reason, and real ethical treatment. It’s frustrating.
