I don't know how to link my YouTube homepage but if you can figure out how to get to my homepage from my videos above I should have more videos that are viewable by the public.I candle a lot.
I usually see drawdown and then within about 24 hours I see the internal pip and then about 24 hours later I see the external pip.
I think that timeline is about right.
Haven't hatched in a while so I may be remembering wrong.

Sweet!
Did you trust your incubator's settings? They lie. Always keep a calibrated thermometer (or three) inside your incubator. A salt tested hygrometer is a good idea too.I'm feeling less than confident about my first hatch!
Is it normal to have so many quit early on? I opened 9 of my 20 that weren't developed and there were tiny embryos.
Is it my cheapo incubator?
Unfortunately I can't really post candling pictures as the best way to candle I've found is with my phone flashlight! Lol!
If they were shipped eggs, I would say 9 out of 20 quiting early is not out of the realm of possibility. Also, did you thoroughly clean and disinfect the bator before setting the eggs?I'm feeling less than confident about my first hatch!

I had a thermometer/hygrometer in there and everything was pretty consistent, I did take it out once everything evened out for lockdown.Did you trust your incubator's settings? They lie.
