Honestly Iām sick of all the brooding and dust already, lol. Trying to think of another place to set up the brooder thatās not the kitchen...
The buttons I set a few days before you set your jumbos have hatched. They hatched Friday into Saturday, I set 7 but they were early eggs from a new layer, her first 7 eggs, I set them because she died and her mates needs a new gf. Only 4 developed and locked down and all 4 hatched, my first home grown buttons.I just put my AJ Farms Jumbos into lockdown. Very impressed only one egg was pulled with no development.![]()
Rubber shelf liner. I don't think anyone uses cheese cloth, but it should work if it doesn't snag the toes.I like the cheesecloth idea! I think I will start using that on my hatchlings. Seems a lot less slippery than paper towels.
