Only 11 of 30 hatched on the snowflakes. Then lost two at a couple days old. Plus the 1 for 1 on the pharaoh eggs. Most just never did start developing. First time I've had bobs in 4-5 years. Raised the Butlers for meat For a couple years. Kind of bought these eggs on just a whim, really was just wanting to see the color pattern when grown.

I measured out one cup worth of the Purina Gamebird starter last night.
I then beat it up while inside a zip lock bag.

I offed the little one I took out of the egg so I have only 13 chicks.

It's right at the 24 hour mark and they have not eaten the entire cup worth of feed yet. I did throw some away while cleaning their floor.

I'm going to see how many days one cup worth will last...just for the heck of it.

@casportpony is making me weigh a few too.

1 cup will last 13 chicks about 4-5 days. Then another cup will last them about 2-3 more days. Then you'll be feeding them that much almost daily.

That's my guess. Tell me how close I am!

i cup will last about 1.5 days...but that includes waste.
It woul dprobably last longer if the little shitters didn't make such a mess.
I can't stand the mess so i probably throw away more than I should when cleaning.

All of my young birds except for 3 are gone. I found 5 bodies and 3 live ones. I have the two culprit dogs on camera.

Neighbour. I just finished a sit down talk with them. They didn't even argue about the bill I presented to them. They just signed it and were grateful that I gave them six monthly payments and didn't push to have the dogs put down.
