I had one more hatch overnight and the curled toed one has survived with some improvement. Took the tape off and I'm letting it rest for a bit before I re-apply. Last I looked there was still one zipping in the incubator.

It's hard to say why it died. I'm sorry for your loss.Well, sadly we're down to one. Had power fluctuations last night and one was dead this morning. Weird though as they had most of their feathers if not all. They shouldve been warm enough. Unless it was stress from the light being off then on then off again, etc.
are buttons that sensitive? Will the last one be happy still?
Buttons are probably some of the worst type of quail to have alone in my opinion. I'm not sure why it died.Well, sadly we're down to one. I have been able to keep the humidity at a stable 60%.
